November 25, 200421 yr Does it make sense and is it advisable to copy the installation .exe file onto a CD after installation to save on disk space?Right now I have both the 600/700 70Mb and the 800/900 47mb files just lying on my desktop and I presume the only reason why one needs them is in the event of a reinstallation? The question here is, if there aren't any technical issues with installing the files again from a burnt CD?Thoughts?-Pranav
November 25, 200421 yr Technically, there will be no problems as far as running those EXEcutables from the CD is concerned. All the files from the executables are copied to a temporary location on your HDD before it runs the actual installation.
