February 24, 200521 yr Hi All, I hope this question doesn't put the cat amongst the pigeons but here goes.......I have read the excellent post on sids and stars but still there is no mention of a database for intersections..... If you fly using fsnav as your moving map and PSS airbus seris you can also navigate using the published intersections which appear far more frequently than NDB's and VOR's. However in the PMDG fmc you cannot input intersections as they arn't recognised!! Is this a simple databse update problem too or is it a boeing thing where intersections aren't used full stop!!!Your direction is appreciated.... I'm lost... not enough VOR's.:-)CheersDal Tech Spec: Intel I7 6700k @ 4ghz / ASUS Z190Pro / Nvidia GeoForce GTX 1080 4095mb / Corsair 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4-24000 / 3 x Samsung SSD 1TB Windows 10 64bit
February 24, 200521 yr Hi Dal, as long as you download the newst AIRAC cycle along with the most recent SIDS/STARS file availabe at the PMDG website, you shouldn;t have a problem navigating via intersections. And BTW nowadays almost all uppr airways (at least I've never seen otherwise) have fixes along them interposed between VORs or NDBs.Hope it helpsCheers, Victor http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/800driver.jpg Cheers,Victor M.
