747 Something completely different...

I thought I'd give it a try to this community:Remember the good old games in the past? Commodere64 games...Nowadays I call them "cartoon-games", because back then, graphics where based on even colours. Grass evenly green, houseroofs evenly red.The good thing about that was the high graphics perfomance with a realatively low end PC leaving all the room for gameplay!!Frankly I wouldn't mind flying around in a 'cartoon' world. The games then where more developed for gameplay then graphics.I wish an alternate FS9 would come on the market with cartoon graphics and awsome gameplay.A game I now call: 744World by Enpire games :-) The game has this:- no 3rd party sofware addons, only patches (by Enpire games ).- start the game by selecting a new career (company CARGO/PAX)- you go to work and start in the dispatch office- get you assignment (you may choose short haul or long haul or even select a flight from the companies list)- get WX (real world data)- going to the jet you'd encounter all kinds of ground handling.- on the FLIGHT DECK, you'd have PMDG744 simulations with all its promises ;-)- traveling to your destination you'd have to park at the right gate otherwise ground handling might be delayed. - of course you'd get all kind of papers along (pax, cargo, maint...)- the programm simulates the company and tells you what is on board.Mind you this is not anywhere near any VA!I am talking about a compleet software package. No extra's needed. Stable as it will be because of that.And would be fully focused on the pilots job, onboard systems...well I could list the PMDG744 wish list here ;-)I think that the people from the age of C64 understand what kind of 'sealed'off game I am talking about.I know I am calling it a game... even Virgin's Shuttle simulation was called a game back then!But it is a simulation... of the 744World ;-)Maybe PMDG would concider making it's own FS, as a stand alone software... afterall, the guys are so much better then all the people at Microsoft! ;-)regardsTeeloo
