>I've just seen this link to Tim's tutorial (Version 2)in a>newsgroup:>http://www.eagleexpressva.com/pafiledb31/p...tion=file&id=96>>I'm not sure that Tim is aware of it, but I know it is>frequently requested.I wasn't aware of it, and I've asked the website owner to remove it.Folks, if you have the tutorial v2.0, and want to share it with another individual via email or ftp, I won't object. Please do NOT post it to public internet sites, and don't advertise it.There are Jeppesen charts in the tutorial, and I don't want to get into copyright issues with them (fair use or not). Also, the approaches into Orlando don't work quite right since the runway names have changed since the tutorial was written, and these changes are reflected in the current NAVDATA.I'm working on version 3.0 now, and there will be an announcement here when it's ready for Beta.

Tim,I hope the post hasn't caused you any hassle. I must admit I was torn about whether to make this post but as it is, it seems to have clarified something for me.I have seen numerous people request the tutorial who have recently purchased the NG and are curious about how to start the engines, program the FMC, flty the aircraft etc etc. I have quietly provided a few copies but never knew what your view would be. I did actually email you some time ago to confirm your stance but it seems to have been lost in space somewhere.Anyway I hope you are keeping well and managing to progress with V3 as I thoroughly enjoyed the previous versions.
