July 15, 200223 yr When flying an airbus airliner do you fly using a joystick or the ch pro yoke. When you fly a Boeing airliner do you use a joystick or yoke. Would it be more realistic to use a joystick when flying an Airbus?
July 15, 200223 yr I fly the Airbus with a joystick. I use an MS FF2 - but the real thing isn't force fed so I may go back to my old sprung Logitech Wingman for the Bus to keep it "as real as it gets".I also have the stick on my left to keep it as real as it gets. Only problem is that the throttle is on the left hand side of the unit and very hard to operate with your right hand. When flying a Boeing I change over to a CH Yoke (or should I say when flying an Airbus I change over to a stick!).I also have CH pedals that work great either way.Andy (YSCB)
July 15, 200223 yr All I have is an old Microsoft Sidewinder 3D Pro. No force feedback or anything. No yoke either. I just cant pay the $100+ for one yet. I would love to get one though. I'm using the same joystick I used w/ my first sim... Falcon 3.0!
