The ground controller is not able to see all the gates and a mix-up was happening. Pilots were calling in for instruction and the controller did not know where they all were. So he issued the clearance -"You guys sort it out yourself. Just don't run into each other"

I use http://www.liveatc.netThey have archives that go back 10 days there also so you can listen to events that have occured. I remember listening live to a Bonanza doing a belly landing.Matt
