May 16, 200521 yr Okay I am sure that the wrong program here is the load manager for the 737 NG.When I completely UNload the 737NG, I get a ZFW of some 17k, but the freeware 737 fuel planner available on AVSIM has the base empty ZFW of the NG at 91k."Okay", I thought, may as well put this to the test.So I start FS9 and load the empty NG and use the FMC and -- whalaa -- 91k.Is there a reason why the load manager has the wrong weights? For the longest time I was calculating my fuel based on the load manager's weight readouts and always wondered why in the heck I kept getting "insufficient fuel" messages in my FMC when i thought I was calculating fuel correctly. Now I finally know why. From now on I will rely only on my fuel planner from AVSIM, but I would like to know if there is a way to edit the cfg for the load manager to get the correct weights. Thanks,Chris
May 18, 200521 yr I corrected the issue.Somehow a line got changed in my CFG file. I matched numbers and found the issue and manually made the weights all correct as per the Boeing web site. Now everything matches what the FMC expects in FS.Chris
May 18, 200521 yr Aye I found out what happened. It was my fault entirely as I was apparently reading the wrong bloody line in the manager. Least to say I am slightly embarrassed now at this. LOL. I need to quit trying to fly after i have worked 12 hour shifts and am so tired.
