A question on Landing lights?

Featured Replies

Hello captains,Does anyone know how to get the landing lights to look like the one in the pic.thanksGideon.

Gideon,The light you see in the picture is the taxi light. The landing lights are on the wing next to the fuselage. On the overhead on the bottom row select Taxi to auto. Then go to the Spot view swing to the front and down and you will see the light on the front landing gear. It doesn

Aye -- pretty sure that screenshot there is "touched up" -- no AC in FS actually shine lights like that, but as said in the reply above, that is a taxi light, not landing. Hate to say it though but you will not be able to get it to look like that in the Sim. Again, that screenshot was touched up.I have done the same effect with some screenshots by just placing a "starshine" effect in Paintshop Pro 9.

I knew It was a taxi light I thought i dloaded the pic with both the landing and taxi lights instead i dloaded that one. your talking to a dude that has thousands of hours on the sim wishing it could be that way in real life. I THINK I read somewhere in the forum a couple years back that iF you play around with the effects files a bit you can get it to look thAT WAY.Can anyone confirm this?Gideon

If there is an effect that can do that -- I'd love to know about it too. That would be sweet.

Try one of these files in the libraryfs2k4_ll.zipnewligth.zipBut if you want the same effect as that screenshot you have to go to www.adobe.com and buy photoshop :)

Heheh well on my end I already have Photoshop 8 CS and PS Pro 9 **smiles**Many thanks. I'll play with it next week.
