I have searched the formum but haven't seen this as yet. Will the flight plan '.rte' format be the same as the NG format? Just wondering if there will be new utilities to convert the 747-400 format to others and vice a versa. In order to avoid confusion for those in the general public who do not really read the question, I am not refering to actual FMC data input. But to the rte file which is produced when the flight plan is saved.Thanks in advance,Paul

Not ignoring you, just forgot to follow up on this with those responsible for the FMC. I believe there is a new format, but the old format might still be compatible. I'll let you know as soon as I find out.
