Quick FL CH question

Hi all,Just a quick question.I've been using the PMDG744 since day one of release and have never suffered any problems at all, other than the very ocasional case of HDG SEL going the wrong way (seems to get more rare). However, yesterday I received my new AMD 64 FX55 and so had to re-install my entire FS set-up to the new 'puter. On loading up the 744 I found I had the old chestnut where the FL CH is permanently on as soon as the plane is loaded.I reloaded the plane twice more (Air Canada PW model) and the same happened... then I rebooted and loaded the BA plane and the problem was gone.My apologies - I know there have been many previous posts on this but I'm hoping someone can give me a quick indication as to what causes this issue - as above, I never had it in 6 months of 744 flying.I installed the main 744 exe and the Optional Update too. Thanks for any help, :-)

This is related to internal intialisation of variables in FS and FSUIPC, when the plane is first loaded. In upcoming version 1.03 we put extra safeguards against this (rare) possibility and you will never see it again.Best,Vangelis===================================== E. M. Thanks very much Vangelis. This happened on Monday past, and has never happened since so looks like you're right about it being rare. Still, will be great when it's gone for good with 1.03 !PS. The PMDG744 VC is just amazing, literally stunning through the eyes of the AMD FX55 processor and the 7800GT card !David.
