What was the ATC thinking???

Featured Replies

I was flying a short route from KBOI to CYVR. I did all of the usual procedures for landing, then landed like the ATC told me to. While decelerating, the ATC had a Dash-8 take off right over me! It only cleared mt by a few feet! Well, I think that the ATC needs a little work... ;)

Yep, good 'ol M$ AI and ATC. I've NEVER actually used the FS2k2 ATC system, but from the screenshots and posts on the forums, it doesn't sound like the controllers know a heck of a lot about IFR spacing :D On VATSIM, which I fly all my flights on, you don't have to worry about that, plus, you get to talk to real people. :-)Ryan-Flightpro08 :-coolTaxiwaysigns.com

The other option for reality-based ATC is Radar Contact, which, unlike VATSIM humans, never goes to bed!
