PMDG 737-800-900 and flying the real simulator experience

Featured Replies

Guy's I just came back from the ATOP program in Houston which was an AWESOME experience! we flew the 800-900 simulator and thanks to the PMDG team it really helped me out with procedures and cockpit flows. I will for sure be flying the PMDG as much as possible now that i have a better feeling of the aircraft, the flows of startup and so on. We got to do 4 approaches, landing simulated emergencies, stalls, steep turns and 2 CAT3 approaches rvr 600 feet. The autoland is just unbelievable! anyway you guys ROCK by putting this simulator together and making an already big fan an even bigger fan.

Totally agree with you on the PMDG software. I've got another 4 hours in the real 700NG at the end of this month. I could never have flown this bird if it weren't for the outstanding software developed by the PMDG developers & beta team. I just wish they had realistic yokes, rudders & throttle quadrants at an 'affordable price'....Big market here for somebody who is an entrepreneur-type and the smarts to pull it off because I think there has got to be a big potential market for these items because what's out there simply doesn't cut it after you've been in the real thing....Keep in mind that this is 'my opinion only' and is not intended to flame any manufacturer of existing hardware but to make others aware of the fact that the software in this hobby is way, way advanced, and the hardware is still way, way behind....Maybe this is an unattainable, maybe it's not..Regards,noullet
