Taxi speed?

Hi, what speed is it recommended that I taxi around the airport using the 744? Thanks...

Doesn't the manual say, for example, 10kts for 90 deg turns? Also gives speeds for 45 deg and straight aways.

Most of us are paid by the hour.....In actuality the limiting factors are tires and brakes. For general taxi less than 20 knots is normal to avoid heat buildup in the tires in a long taxi. 10 knots in a sharpish turn is to keep from scrubbing the rubber off of the nose tires, and avoid a skid. It also helps keep tire scrubbing to a minimum in the mains. A lot of weight on those tires, they carry about 220 psi of nitrogen!
