HEllo to everyone. Im new to the PMDG 747, about a month or so. Im loving it. Im fairly familiar with the operation and the FMC as far as routes and such etc. Though there is one issue I consistently have problems with though . Namely missed apporaches. I understand the basic procedures as in charts and flying the hold etc. HOwever I cannot seem to use the FMC at that point to assign a new approach and attempt to land at the airport I just missed approach on using the autopilot and FD. It seems the FMC simply does not want to allow me to reprogram a new route while in the hold or in general after the missed approach.IM sure Im missing something here, and am wondering if anyone can offer how they accomplish this Thank YouMike B

Hi I think after a missed app, you would be given vectors to go around, but there are missed app procedures which you can program into the fmc BEFORE you arrive at your destination. Imagine trying to program the fmc (in real world) during the go around!That
