Engine sound problems

Featured Replies

Hi all,I have both the 737-800/900 & 747-400 packages (retail CD version) and with both I notice that the engine sounds don't seem quite right. Instead of a nice smooth transition in pitch -from idle thrust to full thrust-, I hear what I can only describe as very obvious changes in pitch that don't blend at all.My other aircraft sounds are fine, its only happening with these two PMDG products.Any thoughts?Here's my system specs:------------------------OS =..........WinXP PROPSU =.........OCZ PowerStream 600WMotherboard =.ASUS A8N-SLI Premium Rev. 1.02Processor =...AMD Athlon64 X2 4400+ (939 pin)Memory =......OCZ PC3200 1024Mb x 2 (2Gb) Rev. 2 "EL Platinum"Video Card =..BFG GF7800GTX OCSATA HD =.....Maxtor 80Gb x 2 (160Gb Total)IDE HD =......Maxtor 160Gb x2 (320Gb Total)DVD ROM =.....Pioneer 16xDVD-R/RW =....Pioneer DVR-108Floppy =......Fujitsu 1.44 floppy/7-in-1 media card readerSound Card =..X-Fi Elite ProMonitor =.....Samsung SyncMaster 213T LCD 21.3"Case =........Cooler Master CAV-T01 w/ WindowCheers :)

Same thing in minecrackling sound with some AircraftsI think CREATIVE soundcard causes that.

I don't seem to get any crackling, just the really odd changes in sound pitch.I've even tried using different sound sets & have the same results with the PMDG birds. Those same sounds work fine with other models.
