NAT waypoints, ILS tune

Featured Replies

Helo Pilots!I have 2 questoins for he PMDG 747.Yesterday i did a fliht from EGLL to KBOS.First problem: when i enter the NAT waypoints the FMC changed some of the waypoints. The waypoints were 5320N, 5430N, 5440N, 5450N.The FMC stored this: 5319N, 5429N, 5440N, 5450.It changed the first two.Second problem: at KBOS the wind was 300/8kts, so i choose 33L for landing.I selected it in the ARR page. The FMC tuned it near Boston, but in the pfd was IMDC 151

Your first point is a known issue. Don't know when, or even if, this will be fixed. Your second problem is a bit bizarre. Wish I could offer something, but I have no idea.

I have tested this MANY times myself. Rest assured, if you enter 5320N, even if it displays 5319N, you will fly to 5320N.I think it is a Microsoft OS thing and not a PMDG thing, personally. I've had other programs (Excel for one) that have given me incorrect decimal placments before, specifically when dealing with radian/gradian mathmatics.
