747 Hydraulic failure

Featured Replies

If I shut down all four engines in flight or otherwise disable all hydraulic sources, the hydraulic pressure does drop to ~40psi. The flight controlls seem to be unaffected by this. Is this intentional?Edit: The control surface animations stop moving, and the controls get a little sluggish, but they still work quite well.I thought they would be completely dead?- Kevin

I tried this too expecting to see how long the beast would stay upright. I still had control. Best I could guess was that the airplane was on life support from it's platform, FS9.We need the circuit breaker panel modeled. Then we could pull that big, three phase 50 amp-er labled MSFS and do some real test flying. Has someone done a "XB747" skin yet?
