How to Repaint?

I'm new to this kinda thing... Can someone that is kind enough point me in the right direction?I downloaded the Template, But I dont know how to convert the textures into DXT3. The repaint I wanna do, or have someone do is really simple, and wouldn't take long at all. It's a old Air Canada 744 retired aircraft without any distinctive makes other then the registration.
