Hi Captains,I just came in cruise flight, but my VNAV now shows the DES page and when i try to get to the CRZ page manually i select a crz altitude and the page flips back to DES. The aircraft is simply thinking its a very long descend of 3000NM. Anyone know how i can solve this?I tried while using both VNAV and FLCH/HOLD.Cheers,Ian Udinga

Check you legs page. Sounds like the next waypoint might have a lower altitude assignment that is initiating the descent mode. Pull up the legs page and take a close look at that the right side of those waypoint entries. Those are the projected speed/altitudes for the various waypoints. Your cruise altitude should be opposite those waypoints until top of descent.
