FMC automatic page switch (747-400)

Hi,Sorry if I missed something in a search of this forum but I could not find anything related to a fairly new developpment in the FMC technology.It appears that some FMCs are now equipped with an automatic page switch which basically opens the relevent page of the FMC for each new phase of the flight as it progresses.Could someone confirm it is already implemented in the airline industry and to what extent it is useful to the pilots. Sure enough it may look helpful as it should follow the logical sequence of the flight but is that not distracting the pilots who may want to stick to a given page of the FMC for other reasons?ThanksMichael
