Who can help with fs2002 problem

Featured Replies

Hi I have just been setting up AI-UK on my puter and it was whilstdoing so I noticed that in my aircraft folder is a folder for the MD-83 but in the select aircraft menu it doesnt appear so I cantselect it. Puzzled by this I installed FS2002 on my other 2 computers and each gave me a MD-83 folder but still no option to select it in theaircraft selection menu, It just doesnt appear in the listany ideas why ?I prefer an answer by email if possible as often dont have a lot of time to search forums for possible repliesCheersDon

Obviously lol...........

come on Alpha, the guy doesn't realize.. the Md83 is intended to be an AI aircraft which you see but can't select..The rest of the files to activate this and a couple of other ac are available here on AVSIM..lighten up already..JamesJ

James I am light as they come !that is why as requested I have been writing to him by email

Its AI Only. IF you wanna fly it, download AirEd from somewhere like Flightsim or maybe AVSIM, Open up the air file, and change aircraft type=2 to aircraft type=0. There are a few files right here at AVSIM that make the aircraft flyable :)BTW you also need a panel, Microsoft didn't provide one.http://212.212.159.238/svedude/imagesP/sqcoasig.jpg

All you have to do is send it through the Aircraft Editor provided by FS2002, its in your main FS2002 folder!

Thanks to everyone for your help. it works fine now Don
