September 23, 200619 yr Gents,Please have a look at the attached word document, showing a flight I had to Iceland, Reykjavik.I planned the route using FSBUILD but without the SID/STAR part of it. Enroute I decided to put in the wpts for ILS RWY11 and I also selected ILS11 approach. No STAR was loaded. Why does the FMC calculate a path that is not possible (see screenshots), I know that it can make these kind of strange paths when you load up a STAR but I did not expect this to happen when I hand entered them, like the points on RWY11 extension KEF 03 was entered in as offsets from the KEF VOR.This is not a very big deal as I would just use hdg commands to get aligned, but I just dont understand why it is not making a nice standard turn from downwind to the ils intercept course as the wpts suggests.Any ideas? What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance.RegardsKjetil OlsnesNorway
