I click the APU switch to start and then it auto switch back to ON. I do this to simulate the cargo loading. All of a sudden, the ND screen goes dark and nothing can be seen. Why??

This isnt a bug but a feature that happens when the product isnt registered correctly to prevent pirated versions. Send a email to support and have them help you revalidate it.

"I click the APU switch to start and then it auto switch back to ON. I do this to simulate the cargo loading. All of a sudden, the ND screen goes dark and nothing can be seen. Why??"In the words of Arnie Schwartzenegger: "IT'S NOT A TUMOR!" (insert BUG instead tumour here)The PMDG programmers did an excellent job of simulating this real world feature. It's only a BUG if the PFD doesn't also go blank (when starting the APU when using Standby Power only). You may even find this mentioned somewhere in a PMDG tutorial or a manual... and definitely in a previous message thread.Cheers.Q>P.S. You switch on the APU to simulate cargo loading? :-hmmm
