July 27, 200223 yr I never used AA4s before because I tought it was to damned slow. However I tried it out a couple of days before and found that I did not loose a lot of fps at all and so I thought:"I should have tried this before. The picture quality is fantastic together with AF level2. Great setting."I easily reached like 22 fps (locked at 23) in the alps with Gaia mesh and huge clouds all around me all the time. Until I changed my drivers by accident back to the 29.42s. FPS dropped to 12.3 in exactly the same setup. So I guess AA4s was damned slow before and the 30.30s make all the difference, they completely rock(!!!) I guess. Can someone confirm this or am I just a little confused?Alex
July 27, 200223 yr Nope, that's why you bought a GF4 Ti4600 (even if you don't know it :-) ) The advantage about this great card is that you can run games at higher resoulutions and at higher AA levels and not lose any performance. I know I run my GF4 Ti4600 with the new 4xS AA and FS2k2 runs like a dream at 1024X768X32. :DRyan-Flightpro08 :-coolTaxiwaysigns.com

In that case the GF4TI128mb card can not do AAx4s and will kick down to the next level, either way something has chaged to get results of that kind. Here is a link to a decent driver comparison data base this is the XP version however the win98/me site is available via a link from that page:http://www.tweakersasylum.com/tapages.php?...onator28xx.htmlTake care,
July 27, 200223 yr Hi Ryan,"The advantage about this great card is that you can run games at higher resoulutions and at higher AA levels and not lose any performance."Sorry, this is just not true, whish we were there and perhaps with the up and comming NV30 we will see performance near that level (when installed in the next generation of Mmotherboards. You may want to check the link below to see how the different settings effect GF4 performance in Fs2k2.
July 27, 200223 yr Yep, Paul I am running at 1600x1200x32. I already felt that my observation cannot be true. Thx fr always bringing us down to earth.Take care,Alex
