Simubuild A340 tip if you see slow fps in spot view...

Recommended Posts

Turn off A/C reflections! Yielded about a 50 pct improvement in fps on my slower P3/800... Hats off to the folks at Simubuild.... Great job, and special kudos for the fantastic virtual passenger cabin. I set some moderate chop, put on the A/P, and sat in the pax seats watching the ailerons working against the chop. I'd say this A/C nails the pax experience best.... And I love the Air Jamaica livery!-John

Yeah, reflections seem to eat LOTS of FPs on this a/cSurprislingly, I found it's one of the few birds that looks great (maybe even better) without the reflections, the paint works is really good!!!

Due to the size and complexity of this model, Flight Simulator nearly doubles its use on resources just to process Reflection mapping, so when using this aircraft, try turning off reflections, you won't miss that much. And also, you shouold run in 16 bit mode, as we have saved our textures in 16 bit format to save space, frame rates, and avoid distortion in all modes. Thanks for downloading. :-)Al Lynch Jr. - Member FSWorldonline.comhttp://www.fsworldonline.com/~imgsrv/MySignature1.jpg
