Shadowing BAW179

Hullo Aviators!The reason why this hobby thrills me so much is the possibilty of simulating the real world experience of any flight in real time!I try as much as possible to shadow a flight whenever I'm simming. I chose today the BAW179 out of Heathrow for JFK... since acc to my virtual airline log I'm currently in London. Just based on estimates I started off pushing back at 1315 NY time (where I am physically) after wrapping up checks... ... Flying over Shannon I tried to track the flight the AirNav tracker to check if it had picked up the flight, but not quite... I checked FlightAware.com and while detailed info wasnt available it showed the flight departing at 1830Z.... this got me a bit excited as I was just right about that time airborne.... ... A little patience and crusing along has brought forth the following facts which I felt like sharing.......
