Simulation Rate Problem

Featured Replies

On my last 2 flights, my 737 has covered about 1 mile every 2 seconds -- about 4 times faster than it should. I flew from Austin to Dallas in about 7 minutes. My groundspeed read in the 430 range, and my sim rate (I checked and rechecked) was set at normal. The "normal" sim rate was confirmed by the fact that the clock was running normally. What's the deal?I have no idea what to do. Someone please help.

Do you hear strange crunching sounds in the background (remember the Langoliers)?Seriously though, my first thought was that you were running the sim in accelerated mode, so I haven't a clue. Try moving your FS2002.cfg file to a different location and restart. See if that helps. The configuration file seems to be easily corrupted. If this isn't the fix, then return your .cfg file back to its original location and your back to where you were.
