Hello,If I fail to nominate a fuel reserve when setting up the FMC, VNAV fails completely. Again is this normal?Paul

just enter a reserve fuel amount.....:-hmmm Im not sure VNAV would completely fail, but the reserve amount is a big part of the VNAV fuel calculations needed to display critical information on the PROG page.....I usually enter 2000 (2.0) for reserve, according to Southwest Virtual OPS, your VA will vary, but 2000 reserves is neutral, and 3000-6000 planned landing fuel at your destination on the PROG page.....Someone correct me if im wrong.....
