New FS2k2 weather program in work...

Featured Replies

Hi all,I just start to make a real weather METAR program for FS2k2.The planed features are:1. Read METAR data from file2. Use TAF data3. Use Winds aloft (FD) data4. get the data from the internet5. use historical data6. use the best clouds available Currently the project is on early BETA status which means it:1. Reads the METAR stations from file2. Read and decode the METAR files3. Transfer the data via FSUIPC in FS2k24. Get the next METAR station if the plane travels5. Make smooth transition between the stations6. Use up to six cloud layers I guess that I can made a public BETA by the end of this week! This should also include the Winds aloft feature. So stay tuned. The project is on this state, because I have very good knowledge of the METAR system and meterological data at all, because I was the guy who made a similar program for Flight Unlimited 3 (This still can be found at http://www.geocities.com/in_04)But too get the project to the best available METAR program for FS2k2 I need YOURE help.I need several BETA testers (Currently the program is only tested on Windows XP Home Edition with FS2k2 PRO German). Feel free to contact me on [email protected] but be shure to put "FS2k2 METAR" in the subject or the message is going too the junk folder!! And last I need some ideas to put in the program. Maybe something like Wake turbulences from AI planes?Ok, I will update the status on this forum frequently, because there was no response in the Weather Forum. There is no web page, because I didn't have the time to make one

Bin sehr interessiert Beta-Tests zu durchf
