400x fmc flightplan problem

i am running the queen on vista.i am unable to inport flightplans through the co route.i have tryed fs commander and vatroute no matter how many times i save the route to the correct directory (pmdgflightplans)nothing seems to save there.has anyone else had the same problem? thanks in advance for any help
