August 1, 200223 yr Hi all,I have just recently started flying with Vatsim and i must say it makes an already realistic hobby much more enjoyable. I have one problem though. My ISP. I currently use BTOpenworld which is good and fast but they have a 2 hour cut-off policy (Whether your connection is busy or not). As you can imagine this is quite frustrating. Cany anyone recommend a good ISP which does not have this policy, Cable and ADSL are not yet available in my area so are not an option. Thanx for any replies.BMA69EGPH
August 1, 200223 yr I have recently gone from AOL to dslextreme.com . To be honest the main reason was price. If you prepay for 1 year it costs $9.95/mo. unlimited for 56 K service. The only problem is that i've never seen connection speed higher than 48KBPS. I'm happy withit and you dont need any downloads with a free 30 day trial.
August 2, 200223 yr While I do use ADSL, my isp, Fuse, also provides for modem. They don't have a time limit, software, or a home page you have to install on your brouser. $9.95 a month. Their service areas may be limited though.
August 2, 200223 yr I use NetZero....works fine. It is $9.95/mo with availability in most places...the speed of the connection varies from location to location. you can find it at netzero.comGood Folks and Flight simmin'...don't get no better 'en [email protected]
