FS02K Crash

Featured Replies

Actually, it doesn't crash because it won't open. When I click the fly now button it just closes the program and I am staring at my desktop. What the @#$% is going on. Here one minute, gone the next. Any help would be greatly appreciated.DAVID C. FREEMANCONTINENTAL VIRTUAL AIRLINESHouston

David,This has been discussed in-depth recently. Check out page 4 of this forum and read the thread "FS2002 Freezes". There's a lot of advice in this thread. Have you deleted your fs2002.cfg and restarted the sim yet? The config file rebuilds itself when you restart the sim. This should be your first attempt at fixing your problem since it's the easiest. Good luck!Jim

Jim,Thanks. Sorry I did not see the previous post. That fixed the problem. Now, if I could only remember my old settings!DAVID C. FREEMANCONTINENTAL VIRTUAL AIRLINESHouston

David,Glad to hear it worked and you're almost back into the air. Have fun!Jim
