Question re. centre bogey on A340 gear.....

Hi,Just wondering about the centre bogey on the A340. It tilts in the opposite direction to the two outboard units, but all the other aircraft I can recall seeing have bogeys that tilt in the same direction.Anyone know the reason for this?Cheers,Gareth Evans

I think the 767 has similar boogies... the 767 boogies and the A330 boogies tilt in the opposite way. I don't know exactly what difference it makes.Al
