Thanks for your reply.It turned out to be the joystick. Something had broken. I bought a new Sidewinder Precison Pro 2 last night and it started right up.One thing I had failed to mention was that my 5 year old grandson picked it up and ran with it while it was plugged in. I caught him just before the USB plug popped out, but it might have caused some stretching in the cable.Thanks again,Joe
