737 ACARS deleting previous flight

I find when I fly back-to-back legs I am unable to clear the event times numbers logged from the first flight. After leg #1 I clear out the DEP?ARR airports from the RTE page and then enter in the new DEP/DES and initialize ACARS again with those airports. The event times still show the previous leg and if I go ahead and fly upon arrival those old event times will still be showing. I have tried manually deleting them and receive an INVALID DELETE message so I am running out of ideas on how to make this work.
