I've just found this on a weather site for METAR info. for EGKK, I'm revising meteorology at the moment and the "VRB" doesn't seem to be in the manual.Here it is: VRB03KTObviously the winds are at 3kts but whats the first bit?Cheers Will

Winds 3 knots from variable directions

Thanks. I thought it was something like "variable", but it didn't give me any specific headings eg. 270V310, which made me confused.Cheers
