PMDG 747-400 sound update question

Recommended Posts

Guest mike773

HelloI finally splashed out and bought a new computer recently and am having fun reinstalling everything for FS. Today I reinstalled all my PMDG products (737, 747-400 and 747-400F). I installed them in that order. Last of all is the sound update. The sound update seems to complete OK, but I am positive the sounds are unchanged. The easiest way I've found to check is to cycle the seatbelt signs. I'm sure the sound is the "old" sound.A possible complicating factor is that I've installed FS9 on Vista. I ran the update as Administrator and didn't seem to encounter any problems. Is there a way to check if the sound update has been applied? e.g. a date stamp on some of the wav files? Thanks in advance. :-)Mike Lyfordhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/for...argo_hauler.gif

Well...I seem to have solved it on my own. I ran the update again (for the umpteenth time) and it seems to have worked.I'm blaming Vista! :-lol Admins....Feel free to delete this topic. Sorry!Mike Lyford
