take off problem

Recommended Posts

Guest

Hi all,it may seems very strange, but I can no longer take off with my 767 Pic for 2002.I never had any problems.I removed and then installed again the Pic, but the result is the same: when I reach the Vr and then rotate, the aircraft tries to leave the rwy, but it remains on the ground.Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.renzo

I've had that happen a couple of times. I found that if I 'slew' the plane off the ground then fly it for a minuteor two, then slew it back onto the ground it will work.No idea why it does it.

Any chance your joystick is disabled or out of calibration. During your taxi out, check the Status page on the lower EICAS and box the controls. Do they move correctly in response to your movements on the yoke? You can also check it out from an external view to make sure your control surfaces are moving. The only other reason I could think that you wouldn't be able to rotate is if your trim was all out of whack.Jon (KSEA)
