Doing a descent using VNAV, optimum mach was 0.78, speed 292 (or just about), I was doing 250 kts in cruise, then as the descent began, the machmeter went down to about 0.76, speed was around 260-270kts, then the plane reached the predicted speed. I wonder if I'm doing something wrong.The workaround I'm using is VS to keep my airspeed at the desired level!!Francois
