Autoland Problems, Boston.

Having problems getting the aircraft to track the LOC in the standard "767 PIC Approach" into KBOS scenario. Usually no problems, but today I added "moderate wind at 035 deg" using the World Weather selection in FS2002. 5 miles from the upcoming waypoint, I select HDG HOLD and hit the APP button (all CMD buttons illuminate). I get LOC capture on ILS intercept, but the Heading Bug on the EHSI goes to "000" (not the runway heading) and the airplane veers to the left and never goes back to the LOC centerline (at most, there is only 5 knots crosswind). Is this a known anomaly?Thanks.Cheers.Ian.

Never seen anything like it. Makes me wonder if there's a bad navdata entry for that ILS. Which approach were you shooting?JPS. The 15R approach has problems in general, but that's an FS2K2 fubar, not PIC.

Which runway, 04R? I land on that all the time without any problems, even with wind. 22L seems fine too.Lee Hetherington (KBOS)

Hi, Jase and Lee.I'm coming in on 04R. I haven't updated my Nav Database (still PIC CD original db) and I haven't altered the Nav Rad page (Course and frequency are already provided in the ini file). No worries. I'll just turn off the wind ;-)Cheers.Ian "mother nature" R.
