June 10, 200223 yr Hi all,I don't see this question being asked in this forum, and I need help on this, thanks.I received a warning on "Unsched Stab Trim" while cruising, the warning repeatedly went off then came back again after awhile. The plane is in auto pilot flight and no unauthorised movement at all.Should I ignore this warning?I've tried to turn off the stab trim switch (beside fuel control), and the results was step climb, stall, then pick up speed again, then climb, stall....Pls tell me what should I do about the warning!Thank you for you kind help.
June 10, 200223 yr Hi,in real life, the "Abnormal Procedure"-checklist reads:Stabilizer Trim Cutout Sws.................CUTOUTAutopilot(s).....................................DISENGAGEStabilizer Trim Cutout Sws (One).........NORMAL - Position one switch to NORMAL and verify proper stabilizer trim movement. If unscheduled trim occurs, return switch to CUTOUT and repeat procedure using the other stabilizer trim cutout switch.Hope this helpsRgds Klaus
