Hi all, since the update patch for FS2K2 I have the following problems:Reducing airspeed under 20.000 feet is almost impossible without using speedbreaks with more than V/S - 800.Fuel flow is much lower than before. FMC calculates, I

For you problem with slowing down below 20,000 feet. How heavy are you? Try using the "search" function with keywords "slow down speedbrakes" and selecting the "and" search logic. There are at least a few posts that have tackled that subject I am sure.

Don't most/many aircraft level off briefly at 10,000 to decelerate below 250? The FAA AIM has language in there about during descent you generally do not have to tell ATC you will be levelling off briefly at 10,000 or 2,500 above field elevation due to such deceleration.Having said that, PIC's VNAV will not level off at 10,000 to decelerate. You'd have to do that manually (e.g., by setting the MCP to 10,000) and then lower the MCP setting after you've decelerated.Lee Hetherington (KBOS)
