June 13, 200223 yr When using pre-programmed SIDs in the FMC Route, they normally have the SID altitude restriction built in. Is this standard practice for real world operators? What is the accepted method when using VNAV to climb above the altitude restriction, when cleared to do so before the end of the SID is reached? Thanks,Fig
June 14, 200223 yr I don't know about the real world, but I think you can DEL the remaining restrictions on the LEGS page. Just hit DEL and then the appropriate RSK. This will remove the speed restriction on the waypoints as well.Lee Hetherington (KBOS)
