Maintain V2+15!?

Recommended Posts

Guest

I have always wondered in 767pic, abiding by the laws of the "3 degrees in every second" pitch up rate...how are we supposed to maintain V2+15 after T/O until Accel Alt!? The aircraft always seems to keep on accelerating and it takes 20* BA to halt the speed, and by that time it's about 190kts...where V2 would be 145?Any tips?Piperpilot[br]767/757 Pilot-Wannabe[/b]

Our speed range for airborne is V2+15 to V2+25, which the flight director will capture. If the speed is above V2+25 the flight director bars will command further nose up to achieve V2+25. This pitch up can be exciting to say the least!
