HELP ! Win2k gauge problems..

Featured Replies

Well I upgraded my machine and decided since it's so fast now, I could drop win98 and goto win2000pro without seeing any hit in gaming performance like my old amd500 showed.I loaded fs2002 then pic767, then pic767 2002 patch on a clean, empty, formatted h/d and when I try to load PIC767 I get a gauge compatiblity error box pop up about a 1000 times !?, then finally the panel loads with everything working except the air speed gauge. Can I fix this ? How ? :)Thanks

Well it's been a rough week to say the least. My PIC problem was as simple as a remove/reinstall, but that don't matter now cause Im back to win98se, win2000 still has too much problems and is definetly NOT for gaming. At least not on my machine. On either win98 or 2000 I get a solid 30 fps with everything maxed, but what's the good of that if you can't even load and run software (on win2000)without problem after problem !?Mind you win98 dose lock on occasion, but here are my choices... search the web for days, weeks, months for fixes, workarounds, explanations, ect... OR hit the reset switch. Thanks for those great choices MS. My mobo even has a winXP ready sticker on it ?!Check out the Train Sim forum and see the problems Im having with MSTS... Like I said... just ain't my week !? :(
