July 10, 200223 yr Really looking forward to meeting fellow PIC-Heads and VATSIM-addicts at the convention tomorrow. FYI, Mr.YYZ (Dan Pergau) is flying CYOW-CYYZ tonight on CanJet flt 155 arriving 1915 T-3. I will be there to meet him, then it's off to Wendy's on Dixon/Dixie for some spotting and dinner. Dixon or Dixie Wendy's will be determined by arrival runway in use, 23 or 05.One of the prizes available at the convention will be the complete operating manuals and MEL for an L1011 - about 1500 pages in all...it's worth the trip to CYYZ ;-) ...plus I will have my world famous safety card collection for show and tell...cards dating back to 1972.Tally Ho. July 10, 200223 yr Good spotting can be found at the infield. Take Britannia east from Dixie or Courtney Park east off Dixie to Infield Road, pass by the gatehouse which is always un-manned. Parking anywhere in there such as around the Skyservice FBO or by BAX or AAL Cargo. Best spots there if landing 33L or departing 33R.
