I'm far from an expert on this matter, but I know that the letters have different meanings at different airports. Often the letter specifies the runway. For example all SIDs with the letter G at EGLL are from 27L, while all with letter F are from 27R. If the STAR is runway specific, the letter will usually specify the runway there too. Sometimes it can be something else though, like all SIDs with a certain letter are for prop aircraft or jet aircraft only.Martin767 fetishistIt's a lot like life and that's what's appealing
