Marker Sounds

Featured Replies

Does anyone have the problem of not hearing the marker sounds (OM, MM, IM). Or does the 767 not have these sounds? I checked my settings, and everything looks normal.ThanksBryan

FS2002 introduced a new switch/button to enable audible marker sounds. Therefore, planes designed for FS2000 (like PIC) will not have this feature unless it is patched in. This was not done. However, there are 2 workarounds. The first one is to select another aircraft that has the marker switch and turn it on. Then load PIC. The other option involves adding the audio panel from one of the default aircraft to the PIC panel. I think Lee Hetherington (or someone else) released one some time ago. I know, because I have it installed on the pedestal. Do a search for it and you may find it.

search the flightsim discusion board for marker sounds, some guy told us how to keep the marker sounds on all the time w/o having to push the button in do get it. so like pic and other panels w/o the 2002 radio pedistal can have marker sounds w/o adding it.http://events8.tripod.com/pilot_tag.JPG

Hey Guy's!! I also have another Work around to get the marker sounds in all planes for FS2002 without going to a default panel and hitting the Marker button to ON!! It's a very easy procedure to do!! First go into FS2002 main Directory,Open the Folder called "Flights" then open a floder called "other", inside you will see a file in notepad called>"fltsim" open this small file up then look for a section called "Aviaonics", then change a line in this section>>>(Avionics)ADFActive=0414.0Comm1Active=127.300Nav1Active=110.50Nav2Active=113.90Transponder=1200OBS1=360OBS2=360LocalizerSelect=Auto SelectDMESelect=1AudioMarkerListen=1>>>>>>>>>>change this from a "0" to a "1". then all your planes no matter what it is will have the Marker sounds on Permanently on in FS2002! If you want it off again just change the 1 back to a 0! Vwery easy! Enjoy MIKE-:)
