joystick noise help please

Featured Replies

Hi there, before I formatted my HD I had pasted a line in my A/C config file for PIC so that when the A/P was engaged it would ignore Joystick inputs. If anyone knows this line please post it here.Thanks.

Would like to see answer to this question myself!

Yep - I have triple checked the PIC option to ignore the joystick, but it still takes input...I know this as I nudge it at least once a week and feel the stick fight back at me and the movement on the Status page. I also tried hitting "K" which is also supposed to disable the joystick...have nto tested the K properly yet, but I can tell you the PIC option does not disable the MS FF v1 or V2 (Mikey) stick inputs.Rob.

Rob - you're looking for CTRL + K?Tom EvansBAV 757/767 Training Captain

hmmm - nmaybe it is ctrl-K....but I seem to remember that after hitting "K", the stick was completely disabled in FS...have to play with that one some more....maybe it is ctrl-K...arghhh...I am stuck at work, interfering with my PIC time again.I have been granted 5 days off as of August 31st as I have been working for 12 months without a vacation time as our laws in Canada SUCK...I plan to catch up with Mikey B fot VATSIM hours during that time...maybe make it up to the cottage for a couple days if I can get away from my baby.Rob.
