August 21, 200223 yr Hi All,[edit]I've just found a similar thread from a few days ago which more or less answers my question, but the question below about the manuals still stands.[end edit]I've just purchased 767PIC and installed with FS2002 and applied the FS2002 patch. According to the FMC manual (which only refers to FS2000), to load an existing route into the CO ROUTE data block it has to exist in the FS2002/pilots directory but FS2002's flight planner won't save to any directory other than FS2002flightsmyflts.Is there a work around for this apart from switching back to the Windows desktop and manually copying the saved plan to the required directory? Also, have the manuals been updated for the FS2002 patch? The download links on Wilco's site appear to be dead. Thanks in advanceAdrian
August 21, 200223 yr Adrianthe answer to your question is YES and NO, there is a file called 767PicPdv.zip which will allow you to EXPORT directly to 767PIC from FSNAV. If for any reason you have a problem obtaining this file I am more than willing to forward it on to you via E-Mail or similiar since I cannot remember from which download site I aquired it. Sadly it was not designed for FS2002 flight planner only FSNAV FLY SAFELYwings737
August 21, 200223 yr The manual was not updated for FS2002. However there is an addendum to the original manual detailing the features of the version 1.1 update. This update manual can be found on Eric Ernst's website at: http://www.flightsimnetwork.com/efpanels/Just scroll down the page and you'll see the link for the update manual.Secondly, there's no workaround for saving your flight plan in the correct folder. But I'm sure that any thread you read about saving flight plans also suggested that you use FSBuild to create your flight plans. FSBuild allows you to export your flight plans in a variety of formats such as 767 PIC, FSNavigator, FS2002, FS2000, and Squawkbox. You can download FSBuild from: http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/a...er1/fsbuild.htm
August 22, 200223 yr Thanks for the response guys.I use FSNavigator and wasn't aware of the PIC export add-on. Got it now though!I also have FSBuild but can't get it to generate an accurate flight plan for the area I normally fly in (Australia). I think it needs updated airways data to solve the problem, which doesn't seem to be available at the moment. But I do have real-world charts and documentation so I can do it the "real" way.ThanksAdrian
